There are a number of skills that we consider to be necessary for lasting success in the Gateway Promotions office. Public speaking is an example of one. This is a talent that, once learned, provides many perks, even if addressing an audience isn’t a part of your job description.
Being a practiced speaker improves your confidence level and gives you the tools you need to champion causes you care about. Even if a role isn’t one that requires speaking duties, Team Gateway Promotions values public speaking skills because it allows them to network more effectively, and engage with customers more easily. And, as a side note, even companies that don’t require someone to speak in public will be impressed by a candidate who has this skill.
For these reasons and more, we’ve made public speaking a central part of our training program. Even if a team member never steps on a stage, we want them to feel certain that they could, knowing that this self-assurance will positively impact every other area of their lives. Which, we’re proud to say, is really the driving force behind our learning system – helping all our people reach their full potential in business and in life.
Along with public speaking, we cover several other executive-level skill sets that lead to success. Check out our Gateway Promotions Newswire feed to find out what they are.
